October 24, 2021 — You and your clients are important to us so we would like to help ensure they are able to maintain thebest dental and vision plans on the market.

We understand life happens and financial situations can arise. We are here to help! Notifications aresent to your clients regarding failed payments and cancellation notices. If a member has a valid emailon file they are sent the notice via email. Should they not have an email on file, they receive notice inthe mail.

As an enhancement we will be copying you to the notifications that are sent to your members. If themember has the notice sent in the mail, you will receive a copy of the notice to your email. This willallow you to be in the know on their effective status as well as giving you the ability to prevent loss incoverage due to a payment issue.

AHow can you help your client when you receive a notice for a declined payment or cancellation?

• Contact Agent Support to verify the declined reason, payment information as well as thecurrent status of the member.

• Follow up with your client regarding their current status and discuss their paymentoptions.

• Agent support is able to assist agents in updating payment information and processpayment(s) as necessary.

• Members may have up to 30 days from cancellation date to reinstate their plan(s).

What can your client do when they receive a notice for a declined payment or cancellation?
